It would float at first but when the opening filled with liquid it would sink.

RE:
Do Legos float?
If I were to drop a lego man into a drink, what would happen? What about a single brick?

If you make a boat, it will stay up yet at the same time it will fill up. A normal lego will float if you add another one on to it. This will work. A lego man will float period.

ok umm let's see how we'd go about testing this.
STEP ONE: Fill a glass with water.
STEP TWO: Drop a lego man in.
STEP THREE: Drop a single brick in.
You have your answer. It would take less time than waiting for a reply on Yahoo! Answers.

Single bricks trap air and will float for awhile... but eventually sink. The same goes for people.
