To the Man Utd fan (Frihah18) above (and I too support them) he either knows nothing about the history of Man Utd or only believes that it counts during his own lifetime, but ask Denis Law if they have ever been relegated.

My team has never ever been relegated, so no tears. But I feel for the genuine supporter who has to go through the emotion of seeing their team going down.

My team hasn't faced relegation in my lifetime, but I remember in 1989 when Arsenal took the title off us in the last minute. Didn't feel good at all, but didn't cry.
In the mid 90's something happened to me that is 50 million times worse than anything that could happen to my football team, so if they did get relegated in the future, comparing it to my wife dying when I was 28 is no comparison at all.
So if Liverpool were to end up in the conference I wouldn't be happy, but it wouldn't make me cry.

my team hasn't been relegated, at least, not since i've been watching :)
But, if my team was ever relegated, I would be very upset. I don't think I would cry, but I'd be a bit upset about it. I'd still root for them no matter what though!

Yes.I support Crystal Palace and they have to be the original yo-yo club,no sooner have they won promotion then they follow it up with relegation. The last time they got relegated was on the last day of the season and we kept changing places in and out of the last relegation place as the game went on.By the end of the match I was an emotional wreck and we were relegated(we were safe with 10 minutes to go!).Needless to say I just started crying.:-(
Good luck with City in the prem.,wish we were there.

i have seen my team Chelsea relegated in the late 80's and seen us fail others times in semi finals and cup finals but I've never felt like crying, yes i was pi55ed off but for god's sake no ones died, it's a good chance to go to other grounds and the promotion back up more than made up for it, anyone who cries should be ejected and never let back into any football ground.

Yes and still am with mine mate. Leeds united. I look back to how far you went down and now we are nearly in the same position. Just hope if we do go down we can do as you've done and regain premiership status but recon that will only happen after shorty wise has gone away.
