My friend thinks they played at "Candlestick park" at the time, but I thought that was where the 49's played. So? Where have the raider's played?

Your friends need to learn more about football. The Raiders did play in Candlestick for one year in 1961. In 1990 they played at the Los Angeles Coliseum. He may have been fooled because one game where the Raiders played the 49ers, the 49ers pulled a Cowboys and wore their away jerseys and the Raiders wore their home jerseys.
Kezar Stadium (1960)
Candlestick Park (1961)
Frank Youell Field (1962-1965)
Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum (1966-1981)
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (1982-1994)
1994-present; Network Associates Coliseum

Around that time their home games were at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum until they moved back to Oakland in 1994.

I believe they were the L.A.Raiders then so they would have played around L.A. maybe the colliseum
