Hotel Josef, somwehere in downtown (Hastalska st).
Hotel Paris (Nam. Republiky).

Intercontinental and Hilton are the most expensive.

Oh yeah, Corinthia towers its called, thats a big one, i thing 4* or maybe 5*, but its not really in donwton. It used be called Hotel forum and there is a subway near by, about 3-4 stops to the center.

Prague is one of the cities worth-visit and to do that you can start preparing your vacation with hotelbye . Starting with the wonderful area around the Prague Castle or the Strahov monastery with its exceptional library and end with …the complete marvelous town, Prague is simply incredible. In Prague you can also visit the small house where Franz Kafka worked or the wonderful Prague Castle gardens from where you could enjoy a special view of the town with its picturesque red roofs. In this town you will never get bored. If you will go throughout the spring you will discover the spring woods in flower; in the summertime you will see extended dusks; fall will give you vibrant leaves and unique mild and in winter months you will like the whole town covered with simple bright snow.

yes, the Top hotel is excellant, have stayed there more than 10 tiimes in the past, only downside is you have to travel to the centre but transport links are excellant. CarlosIV is also good but a lot pricier, would not recomend the K&K as it's in the red light area. we loved Prague so much we moved here at the begining of the year.

I stayed in one called Hotel Andel. It was probably 3 or 4 star but I thought it was very nice - newly refurbished and modern and clean. I also thought it was very reasonably priced back then ( 2yrs ago) not sure what they charge now.

I am used to staying in posh hotels when I travel on business, so was very pleasantly surprised by this one, which gave me no reason to complain.

It's also very convenient. Not in the heart of town but only a short tram ride, and the trams are dirt cheap. Probably costs about 30p for a single trip.

I stayed at the U Tri Pstrosi (three ostriches) which is actually on Charles Bridge. It's not highly luxurious but it is more than OK, authentically Czech and not expensive. It's listed as three stars. Five minutes walk to anywhere. I stay in upmarket hotels all the time for work and they get pretty boring!

I stayed at the Radisson SAS which is very close to Wenscyslas Sq. Everywhere was walkable and the hotel was lovely!

It's very 1930's in style and we had a great time!
