What are your personal experiences with Spirits?There is much more i wanted to write but i it wouldnt let me.?

I have had incounters with Spirits ever since i was little.I was taken to the hospital and the doctors did every kind of test but couldn't find anything abnormal about me.I had been taken to a Church and been given a Exorcism..Long story..but with nothing found in the test my mother said it must be "spirits". I explained to her who i would see and what the Voices would say,together we took the imformation to the Courthouse and looked up the historical Documents. Sure enough the people in the Pictures matched with the Spirits i had seen (and still see)..one was of a Spirit of a woman who had built the house we had moved into.she would walk through the hall ways as if looking for someone.and sometimes i would see her in the garden.
My next door neighbor at the time was 100yrs old and i went over to her house to visit her and do some chores for her. she would tell me stories of when she was little..and then she mentioned "Emma" the woman who lived in my house a long time ago...etc

I have encounters with spirits mostly when they need help to reach someone on this plane of existence and get a message across. I know that they are real and have never led me astray. The information they give me sometimes gives me chills (one told me she was murdered, didn't commit suicide and it was all true!) Don't think there is something wrong with you, know that your mother probably knows about 'spirits' first-hand. It is generally handed down through the generations in a family. Talk to her.

I've never been able to see angels or spirits(except perhaps in dreams). Some friends say they do. The Bible is the safest guide that I know of to the world of the spiritual, and there is wisdom is the first Epistle of John, chapt 4, regarding a test of the spirits. If I had the opportunity, I would not listen to one long, and certainly not consider what he says to be true, without submitting him to this test. As soon as you ask the question, the spirit will most likely go away - "Do you believe that Jesus Christ as God came in the flesh?"

Interestingly, this same test works on people who are being led by cult spirits.

I hear you, most people do not believe unless they see and hear the same things as you. We have 4 that we see but many many other spirits in our house. They do all different things. I brought a physic to the house I didn't tell her anything . She told me that our house was full of spirits I started to laugh and said I know we have 4 we see them all the time. NO no she said , you have a lot more , it isn't the house it is you they say say you are cool to hang with. Anyway I use to tell my husband about seeing this woman this man and this child. He always said the same thing . You are crazy. Until one day while getting ready for work he saw the lady and the child. He finally believed me. I thought I was going to go crazy because at first NOBODY believed me until they started seeing for them selves. I hear talking all the time but don't see anybody . Feel special that she is allowing you to see and talk to her it is because you are cool and she trusts you.

I saw a ghost of a man when i was a kid, and a woman. I don't see them anymore, but I feel them around. Communication with spirits gives us the experience to learn more about being Individual, therefore becoming the best we can be without the need of opinions of others. That is how I view my own experiences with spirits.

I have seen my great grandfather at my grandmothers house, never met him, he died the year my older sister was born. After my great grandmother passed, if I go to her house, I feel her there. I loved her a lot. My grandmother sees spirits, when people she loves are close to death.

weird i had a dream when my sister died at the time of the dream i did not know that she died she came to me and told me she had to say good bye i said where are you going she said far away and we talked about the previous christmas something that had bothered me as i didnt think she liked the gift i gave her because she gave me a necklace she liked and i gave her this jacket and she had this look on her face like she didnt like it. in the dream she told me she loved it and we told each other that we loved one another and and i told her i didnt want her to go she said she had to but not to worry she wanted to go and that it was ok and she didnt have a choice when i woke up i put that necklace on that morning the first time i ever wore it ,and i started my day i would think about the dream through the day and touch the necklace later that day i started to tell one of our other sisters about the dream when she intterupted me and told me our sister had died i was blown away but the dream brought me comfort

your not alone ,, take it as a gift because that is what it is.... dont let people that are to closed minded to spirts make you feel bad for what you are so open to see... i tend to see spirits alot and i see things before they happen which can be scary at times

Wow, I think that's pretty cool. Do you think its their actual spirits? Or do you think you are seeing things that already happened, like a time warp?
