Did you ever think that maybe you are boring to them and that's why they stop paying attention to you?

Although many people think that goldfish have 3 second memory's it was recently proven that their memorys are fairly good.Everytime they fed the fish they played a beep and eventually when the fish heard the beep they started swimming madly because they knew they were about to be fed.So their attention spans must be quite good aswell.

Do they? I've seen studies that goldfish have been trained to follow mazes. They go through the maze and each time they go through it they are faster. The implication is that learning is taking place and they do not have short attention spans.

Cos by the time u say to them "hey fishy what's yr name" they have forgotten what u said in the first place.....hence a very short memory.

Because all they learn is where the food comes from and to run (swim) away from the net.
