A guy in my league is offering me Wali Lundy and Jericho Cotchery for Hines Ward.....seems pretty risky, but I need a running back, and the upside seems huge.

If you REALLY need a #3 RB, and are already strong at WR pull the trigger.

You are giving up some guaranteed points for sure. If Cotchery is going to be taking a seat on your bench, I would not make this deal. I'd try for a guy who I KNOW is going to start for me every week at RB, or someone who I know is going to start for HIS TEAM.
+ I don't see Houston, coming from 14 point defecits on a weekly basis running the ball a whole lot, regardless of who they have in the backfield.

If you're willing to put Ward up on the block, let your whole league know. Somebody is bound to be willing to part with a better RB straight up than Lundy.

You're pretty desperate to trade for Lundy. Cotchery has seriously cooled off. Ward is somewhat of a risk but should turn it on in the second half of the season. If you've got a lesser receiver, I'd trade him. I'd want more than just Lundy and Cotchery for Ward. Can you get a better RB offer for Ward?
