How many 2002 Suzuki GSXR600 Telefonica replicas were produced by Suzuki that year?

This is a limited edition motorcycle that was only produced in 2002 and i was wondering how limited of production it was? (USA only)

I read it was something like 3,000 total units but suzuki is known to be a little deceptive on LTD bikes. I had a 1987 gsxr LTD 750 with the dry clutch and so on that was said to be a 1500 model run and 12,000 was a lot of cash for a 1987 bike in those days and it turned out the actual number produced was more like 10000!!! oh well. sorry cant help more
