Using the density of the liquid, you can easily do it:
Remember Density=Mass/Volume
So if you have the Density and the Volume, you should do the following:
Density*Volume=Mass
Done =)
Btw, just read your edit... The density for water is 1gr/ml, so 100 mililiters of waters equal 100 grams

Can't be converted. Grams are a measure of weight. Tablespoons are a measure of volume. Liquids that are primarily water can be approximated as tablespoons, but petroleum jelly is oil based. Little or no relationship to the water the metric system is based on. You'll have to weigh it out. You can get a little diet scale that measures in grams for a few dollars at the grocery store.

1 liter of water has a mass of 1 kilo (yes the metric system is so much smarter than the "imperial" system, which is why metric is used by nearly all countries of the world... ;-)
100 milliliters (gees, all thoses i's and l's! ;-), as you probably know, is 0.1 liter.
if 1 liter of water has a mass of 1 kilo, i.e 1'000 grams, then 0.1 liter will have a mass of 100 grams.
and to think that, using ounces (fluid and not), this would be a nightmare and could only be resolved using a calculator! ;-)

Milliliters is a measurement of volume
Grams are a measurement of weight
You have to say what you have 100 ml. of in order to know how many grams it weighs.

mass = volume * density
in a density versus temperature table find the water density at the temperature you worked. If you do not have that assume density = 1000 g/l.
mass = 0.1 liters * 1000 gram/liter = 100 grams.
