Sounds like you need a new tv. I have a regular 27" and I don't have any problems like that.

Several songs: Pink Floyd's Grantchester Meadows: See the splashing of the kingfisher flashing to the water. And a river of green is sliding unseen beneath the trees Laughing as it passes through the endless summer Making for the sea. David Gilmour's On an Island: Remember that night White steps in the moonlight They walked here too Through empty playground, this ghosts' town Children again, on rusting swings getting higher Sharing a dream, on an island, it felt right Pink Floyd's Echoes: Overhead the albatross Hangs motionless upon the air And deep beneath the rolling waves In labyrinths of coral caves An echo of a distant time Comes willowing across the sand And everything is green and submarine.

Check the manufacturer's web site for manuals, knowledge base, diagnostic tips, etc.

I'm guessing your TV is some sort of projection type or CRT (which is an electron beam projection display when you think about it) and the picture needs adjustment for pincushion, size, and skew/parallelogram. If you have your manual handy it should tell you where to find the adjustments. These days they're often accessed via on-screen menus with buttons on the display. If that doesn't work call the manufacturer.
