Please tell me what neighborhoods we should be looking into for houses to buy. We have twin 3 year old girls. What is the exchange rate between US and Canadian money? Are American citizens allowed in the public school systems? Any information will be greatly appreciated!

would think. It wasn't a problem for me when my parents moved
from the UK to Canada. My sister was allowed into the public
system.

The exchange rate is 30% less than us dollar, Try looking for an mls real estate listing in edmundton.I think if the children were of school age they would be required to attend.

i live in edmonton and it depends on where you are looking to move to and where your husband is going to work. If you want to you can email me and i can help you further if you like. also join neighbourhood watch and you can get crime updates and learn where the bad area's are. i am part of that too. you buy a house here and have kids that i think will entitle you to send your kids to school. the kids around them will just have lots of questions and think it is neato to have new friends from somewhere else.
