If they are his ONLY source of income, good luck. Child support is based on his income and SSI only will actually put him in poverty level. If you have a job and he doesn't I wouldn't expect much.

yes because his ssi disability checks still count as income.

go to the social security office i beleave they can also get a check from him because he is disabled they should get it until they are 18 check it out i am on disability my daughter receaved a check it will come from social security not child support but it is for there support.

If the father is on SSA then the twins should automatically receive checks as well.

He's still getting money, and these are still his kids.. so the answer is yes. Go to a maintenance enforcement program.. they'll make sure he pays each month.
