You need to call the police and all the credit card companies before it gets out of hand. Have all your ducks in a row for the police report and look for witnesses, if there were any at the time! Sorry to hear about your loss; it's happened to me! Good luck catching this thief.

Well if you live in the county i live in it would be wise to do your own investigation. You probably already filed the police report and contacted your bank. If the person stole your whole wallet and if you have any other cards i would go ahead and call the card company and tell them. The police should be at the location where the card was used trying to get some type of surveillance tape. You should contact the place where the card was used if the cops didn't and ask if they have surveillance. Also if you were in town check the place that you were at for survalance maybe the person was caught in the act. You might want to ask around see if any one heard or saw anything. I hope that you get your stuff back and that the person who did it gets punished.

Won't the police help you? Persueing the matter yourself may get you hurt. It sounds like a nasty person to begin with, get the police to help. My son's ex had her car broken into, she had just bought a whole new sound system and burglar alarm, they broke in and stole the whole business, even the alarm she never installed. That sucks.

Well, one thing is for sure that you will have to part with all information with the cops. Secondly, since you sound confident of finding the culprit yourself, you may also keep your efforts up.

Call your bank up first and have them stop your account so someone doesn't try to jack your money. Then call the cops

SURE IT IS ALWAYS SAFE TO GO AFTER CRACKHEADS AND YOU ARE SO MUCH MORE PREPARED TO INVESTIGATE. MOST OFFICERS PREFER YOU TO MESS UP THEIR INVESTIGATION WITH YOUR OWN....
