is there a way to download internet explorer without passing for the annoying validation? i have a legal copy but i don't want them to sneak on to my computer installing me c-r-a-p i don't need
i hate it and sites are constantly pushing me to upgrade

I doubt Microsoft would "sneak" onto your computer, considering that they could be sued for invading privacy or something.

Just don't ask for anything you don't want.

yes they wil ask to verify if ur windows is genuine but they wont download anything else but the Internet Explorer installation file that u will need to run once is downloaded.

why not download Firefox 2, it is even more compatible than other versions and it it brilliant to be honest. http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
but if you need Internet explorer 7 then try using a computer elsewhere and transferring it across.

I hate that as well but I don't think there is a way to do that. I also tried but if was futile. I had to download the legal version.

do the download of the new yahoo internet explorer 7 beta and just select what you want, its a one time prosess. i got it and it has been great for me so far, i love it. :)

Yep you can download a copy from Download.com , try it out .. but for your benefit better get an original
