Absolutely nothing, if your boyfriend likes you, then his dad will have to deal with that. Be polite and respectful, but nothing more.

Have you considered that perhaps, although he likes you, he keeps his reserve in case the relationship does not last?
Just be your natural self and, if you are still with your boy friend in six months time and you still feel this reserve, then perhaps you can ask him why he keeps you at arm's length. In the long run all that matters is that your boy friend likes you, but it would make things easier in the long term if you knew where you stand. There may be something in your attitude or behaviour that antagonises him in certain situations but not in others .

Nothing, Nada, Zippo, Zero.
Just forget about it, Dads are like that, Maybe thats just the way he is, so just forget about it and dont let it go to your head. People are like that sometimes and there is nothing you can do. Just be polite around and start being careful of what you do so you can figure out what triggers some of his actions.
Other than that your fine, Enjoy your BF.

Chill out. You're not going out with his dad. Take it easy. If he likes you, good. If not, so be it. At the end of the day, its up to your boyfriend what he does with you not his father. Don't even try to make an effort to get on with him. Just be yourself and show him your true colours. U cant get on with everyone in life, including your blokes parents!

Well does he have a reason not to like you? Maybe it's just his personality. Ask your boyfriend what his dad says about you when your not around. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

I used to get that feeling around my boyfriends mom, and it turned out to be true. Honestly you just have ignore it or its gonna drive you crazy. If he's rude just keep conversation to a minimal. If you pretend to feel comfortable around him that would probably make the whole situation go better.

He is probably afraid his son should be concentrating on making his way in the
world and not be so concerned about women. Maybe you could treat him special,
like find out what he likes and give him a little present related to that.

Nothing.... ur not dating dad, ur dating the son. Just continue to be polite and respectful to his parents, regardless of what kind of vibe you get from them and stop being paranoid cuz u never know what he may be thinking....what if he thinks that YOU'RE too good for his son????

how serious is the relationship?
make a point to have a conversation with the father sometime when you are hanging out. maybe he seems to not like you because he doesn't know you very well...give him a chance to. and don't do anything to piss him off.
if that doesn't work
send him a myspace friend request.

don't do anything, it's your boyfriend you come to see, not his dad, if this bothers you too much ask your boyfriend if his dad has said anything to him about you, maybe you just feel a little uncomfy because you don't know his dad that well....don't worry about it hun, if his dad didn't like you i don't think he'd have you in his house, relax
