You could just type 'gif' into your search engine and go through the results. Anywhere that you see a 'gif' you can right-click on it and save it to a file on your computer. To put them on your MySpace they have to already be online somewhere so sign up for a PhotoBucket account and upload your saved gif's to it...
http://www.photobucket.com/
Then you can put them on your page with a little code like this where you put the text on your editing page...
< center> < img src =" http :// www. xxx.com/yourAccount/" width ="100"height ="88"/> < /center>
The 'url' for your gif will be right on the PhotoBucket page. Get the width and height from the image file on your computer.

you do not "transfer" them, you ought to UPLOAD them out of your laptop to myspace. to do that login to myspace, click on on PHOTOS | UPLOAD after which while the following web page comes up click on browse to seek your laptop records to discover the snap shots to add on your web page. -ND2

if you mean animated gifs, just download other peoples animated gifs then upload them somewhere so you could embed them in your profile. if you mean slideshows, i think photobucket does that.
