I love that show. I didn't watch the first couple episodes but people around me kept talking about it so I downloaded them and I've now seen the last two. It's really great! Have you gone to the NBC website and viewed the graphic novel? It gives you information that isn't in the series or not yet in the series.

Great show.

I some how see this as a combination of Xmen, Threshold and Highlander.

I think the heroes are being drawn together to fight for some ultimate power with some ultimate foe. It is a little like Kirosawa's Seven Samurais in that sense too.

The brain seems to be the source of their powers so it is probably their weakness also.

So far, nobody can change molecularly, turn to fire or ice or anything like that. There are also no telekenetic people or shape shifters. That could be what we are waiting for, an enemy that can change matter, that way you have a battle of mind versus matter.

I like the idea that they could all be aliens and just not know it yet.

At any rate, I figure the cheerleader is the cure to the radiation from the big explosion. My guess is the stronger her powers become the more likely she can share them with others and the harder it will be to kill her.

They need to go back and explain the eclipse and its significance to the story. It is in one of the artist's paintings. I am sure he has to die. His power allows him to help the heroes predict the future. That would allow them to lay traps for the villains. What's more it would allow him to see the ultimate solution to the battle. The question is how would he know what the images mean? he seems to be able to see images that have nothing to do with the heroes as well.

At any rate, I am having fun with the story's ambiguity.

Here is my theory:

Mr Bennet (Claire's father) and the eraser are actually trying to help the heroes somehow. I think that ultimately they will be revealed to be "the good guys" or at least, not as bad as Syler.

Syler has the ability to either permanently or temporarily take the power of anyone whose brain he eats. The reason the heroes have to save claire is because he'd be unstoppable were he able to take her power.

This show has everything you could want: mystery, suspense; good writing; good acting; great locations; some comedy; lots of drama, and even some violence. But one of the most important things to me is it respects your intelligence by assuming that you will understand the issues that are happening. I like that in a show. Oh yeah, and it gives you someone to hate. not just Claire's father (the sleaze), but the politician who can fly (but lied on his brother for political purposes). Don't cha just hate that?

love it, love it, love it! I really hope it stays this good. Sometimes these shows come out really strong and all of a sudden the writing goes to hell really quick. Like they didn't think past the part to get you hooked.

It has to be one of the best shows ever.

You can catch past episodes on Youtube. I've tried watching them on the main site and it is a nightmare.

"Heroes" on Mondays

"House MD" on Tuesdays

"Medium" on Wednesdays

"CSI" on Thursdays

"Dr Who"/"Battlestar Galactica" on Fridays

"Sunday Night Football"

"24" starts in January, as does "Psych" and "Monk."

If they ever put on something worth watching on Saturday nights, I'm doomed.
