Actually, I think fear (which leads to prejudice, etc.) is caused by ignorance, not the other way around. As for greed, well that's human nature stemming from our battle over limited resources.

Ignorance is just lack of awareness.
All other things intolerance , hatred, and fear are negative emotions due to attachment to deep rooted desires...
The fear is a negative emotion out of intuitional apprehension about possibility of non-realisation of these desires.
