Impossible to calculate unless we know the angle opposite the hypotenuse. It could be anything between just over 26 and just less than 50.

I assume you're referring to a right triangle with sides 24 and 26.

By the Pythagorean theorem, the length of the hypotenuse, c, satisfies 24^2 + 26^2 = c^2.

Therefore c = sqrt(24^2 + 26^2) = 35.3836.
