why aren't the moderates heard from more often or are they content with extremist speaking for them?

The majority of moderates do speak out, but it doesn't make good news like the radicals.
the moderates in the areas of war can't speak out because the radicals would kill them.
There are 1.5 Billion Muslims in the world, only a very small percentage are crazy!

if i am understanding you right, you are angry with these islamic terrorist extreamists that keep posting there crap on the yahoo answears? i have noticed this too, they try everything to try to get someone on there side so they probly want to find more people to do there terroristic acts right hear in this country, i agree that they should be banned from all of yahoo piriod. no question there, yahoo could be saporting terrorism by letting these ******* post there koran thumping garbege and tring to prach to a pissed of nation who realy wants little more than justice served in its fullest extent, these pussy's started the war by bombing us, now they want to defend there acts of mass murder, its bullshit i tell you! all you have to do if you see this isclick the flag thingy and report them for abuse, when anoff reports come in about this when it gets typed in the "reason" box they will start watching for it and reacting alot more and start cracking down, remember- it only takes one to ban a question or comment. BUT I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU. moderators should do something about these basterds.

Because they are scared of the extremists and they have allowed them to hijack the entire religion of Islam.

Who gets the attention in the US, the mainstream religons or the radical right? All media tend to report the extremes and the unusual events.

actually...i'm muslims.... and i see lots of muslim people... talkin about islam in a horrible way.. all i can say about it.. that they tend to make you afraid...scared to be convenced that islam is right... and all i know about them.. that they're shame to islam... i dont want such a person to represent islam... actually i would be ashamed that she\he is one of muslims...
