I'm going as a fairy too. *giggles*
I'm VERY creative, so I come up with my own Ideas for makeup.
I want to be a cosmetologist....
Anywho...
The first things you need to think about are,
What color is your costume?
What color is your hair?
what is your FAVORITE color?
Then,
Do you want your makeup dark and noticable?
Do you want your makeup light and sheer?
Do you want your makeup vibrant and colorful?
Lastly,
Do you want your makeup to be regular? (plain eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara)
Do you want pretty designs above, below, at the sides of your eyes?
Do you want multiple colors?
Once you figure these things out, it's really easy.
If you're not very good at applying makeup, you could always ask a friend to help!
And a tip for glitter....Which I've noticed on my own...
Loose glitter works WAY better than "body glitter gel"
Just buy some loose glitter, put an eyeshadow brush into it, dab it on wherever you'd like. (I put it on my eyes) Afterwards (if it's on your eyes, make sure to close them) Spray a VERY LITTLE AMOUNT of hairspray over it, and the glitter will stay on until you wash it off. The hairspray also gives the eyeshadow a shiny look.
And it's perfectly safe....as long as you close your eyes while spraying. :)
And for your lips, I would use a very light, shimmery color for any kind of eye makeup you chose.
If you notice, 99% of all fairys have interesting makeup on their eyes, but light colors on their lips. This is because they prefer to have their eyes stand out as the main feature of the face.
I hope this helps some!

I would wear your hair up and put some kind of hair glitter in it.
As for makeup, I think a fairy is supposed to be a little more natural, so I would keep it simple. If anything, I would accentuate your eyes. Wear a metallic eye shadow, or pastel-colors. Make it a little darker (being that it is Halloween, it's ok!) :) And instead of ending your eyeliner at the corner of your eye (on the outside), continue it onto your face and make like a curly-Q or some kind of design with the pencil. You can find glitter for your skin at costume stores (Party America), Target, or even some makeup companies have shimmer makeup. That would add to your appearance!
GOOD LUCK and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

How old are you? Dressing up as a fairy for holloween is so passe' dearie... you'll end up with a couple more dozen fairies... Wanna stand out? Why not try a more sophisticated look? A flapper, a beergarden damsel or a french maid perhaps... the makeup for these looks are always on the net... feel free to google it....

I would make everything very iridescent. Like use glitter on the "c" shape around the outside of the eye and on your cheek bones. Then use pastel lips like a soft pink and pastels like maybe green or lilac on your lids. Make sure to use dark mascara though.

I can't seem to find a picture of it, but if you've ever seen Ever After with Drew Barrymore, the makeup she uses for the masquerade would be perfect for you!
