Asking this question for a friend.

I have two friends one is a girl and one is a guy the guy really likes the girl. He tried asking her out before and she said no. Last week they where talking and she told him some stuff, it went like this. In one hand she really likes him but in the other she is scared. She is scared about what her parents might think; what her friends might say, she is just scared. She takes the easy way out and says no. Does anyone have any advice that could help her over come her fear?

As one of her other friends he is a great guy. Also the one friend she is worried about likes the guy a lot and they did date back in the beginning of the year but now there just best friends and he did asked her out way before that and once again after. fyi there both over 18

Tell your friend not to worry about what other people are going to think of her and her life, she is over 18 so she should be okay just doing what she wants. You should let her know what you support her dating this guy, have her talk to the other friend that dated him and let her know what she wants to do, and have her talk to her family about him. Keep letting her know that you care about her and you want her to try out this relationship.

I think that if she really likes this guy, she shouldnt care what other people think of him, I mean personally I have no "type" I have liked a preppy boy, a mean boy, and a goth boy. When I like someone enough to constantly think about them, and find a place in my heart for them, then I dont care what any1 thinks, my only problem is when my friend says that she likes him before i can tell her that i do.

well if she really likes him she should date him and stop worring about what other people think. and her parents will just be happy that she found somone that she can trust and not just some guy she meet in a bar or somthing.
