I had the exact same problem a few weeks ago. I was late, and took two tests both said negative, so I went ahead and did it. Wekk, two weeks later I found out I was pregnant. I talked to my doctor and she assured me things should be fine. I had to stop taking any medications though. See, there is a couple weeks when the actualy implantation and everything is still in the process, and during that time, people usually can't find out if they are pregnant, and it's also nature's forgiving time. There isn't much that can be done during the first few weeks to cause serious harm. That's the rough version of what was explained to me, because I was a wreck! I would bet everything is fine! Good luck!

How far are long were you when you had the surgery and took the meds. Just to let you know that you do not even have a placenta until 2-3 weeks gestation so there for baby would not have received anything through your system.

Many people have taken medication or drank too much without realizing they are pregnant. The babies are usually fine. The important thing is to stop immediately and talk to your doctor, then only take meds that are approved during pregnancy.
Best of luck and congrats.

Do not take any more medication until you can speak with your doctor. Most likely, you baby will be fine. Call your doctor right now and ask.

Its too late to do anything about the pain control you've already taken - just stop now, and try not to worry about it.

Ask your doctor. Surely he/she know the answer more responsibly than any of us.
