i have a combi boiler VCW T3W. the pressure keeps going down. i identified where the leak is. it is in the differential pressure valve inside the boiler (or the flow switch/valve). so that i know what to expect - do you have to replace the whole thing or can it be fixed. the pressure keeps going down and needs filling and the hot water doesnt always work.

Contact a Vaillant spares stockist for a set of seals. I'm not sure if this is the part you want but there are usually a selection on Ebay.

earlier you replace the valve, make optimistic that its no longer merely doing its job. stress relief valves are meant to alleviate stress if the equipment stress is going above 30 psi. They try this to guard you and the boiler from an explosion or a rupture. So first, make optimistic that the equipment stress is under 30 psi. no count if it quite is rather under 30 psi, then specific-the stress relief valve is undesirable. with a view to swap it you will might desire to empty the equipment to the place the water point is under the stress relief valve (PRV) after which get a stable-sized pipe wrench to break it loose. It in all likelihood has a discharge pipe- attempt to take it aside in a fashion that facilitates you to re-use it. use pipe thread sealant while putting the recent one in. make certain you tighten the fittings with a stable tug on the wrench. Now all that's left is to replenish the equipment and hearth the boiler returned up, staring at to make optimistic that it would not pass over stress. you will in all likelihood might desire to bleed air out of the equipment. OR- call a plumber.
