Do you mean Venice in Italy for new year's eve?Well it depends. They used to do fireworks at midnight but sometimes they don't.Anyway, the general atmosphere is always a bit. . .magic there so you might have fun just walking around

Piazza San Marco, hands down, right next to the bell tower and church so when the clock strikes midnight you're right there. Or the Realto Bridge, just for the view. It also depends if you're alone, with someone, or with a group of people.
