Usually, any line, no matter how faint....means your pregnant. Just to be sure before you start shouting it from the roof tops or go to the doctor, you should spring for a $8 digital test. It clearly says pregnant or not pregnant......nothing else to it! try the digital Clear, Blue easy test. Good Luck!

My husband and I were out of town and I took a dollar store test. There was a faint positive, but he didn't trust it so we went to walgreens and got two more of the more expensive tests. The next day I took the test again and they were both faint positives. Whether it's a cheap test or not it still needs to detect the pregnancy hormone ... looks like they all work the same to me.

It doesen't matter how faint the line is or how cheap the test is! They all test for the HgC levels in your urine. If you read the instructions it says it does not matter how faint the line is.
I don't know why people pay $30.00 for a test when the one's at the dollar store work just fine (I know you wouldn't think they would). But, we've experimented with them whenever someone gets pregnant. They tell just as well as the more expensive tests! It sounds to me like you are pregnant!

If you did not have the pregnancy hormone in you, there would be NO LINE!!!!!!!!
you are pregnant the reason there is a fain line is that your pregnancy hormone is vary faint right now, maybe your only a week or so. or your levels might not be high at the end of the day , try taking it 1st thing in the morning and try again in a week.
This is what happened to me and this is what the doc told me.

I was reading on a website yestarday about all of the different tests that you can take. I think it was peeonastick.com and it said that even the dollar store tests are accurate. And that a line is a line no matter what color it is or how much it shows up. Check out that website.

I love the Dollar Store!!! Anywayz, i took the same test 14 months ago and guess what..I have a 5 month old baby now. A line is aline is a line.. you gonna be a mommy!! congratulations and God Bless!!

Faint or dark, if there is a second line, that's still apostive
Read the instructions, it will say the same thing the second line may be lighter than the first

i took a dollar store test to. It came back postive and sure thing I was pregnet. SO them test do really work !
If you have like a care net or plan parenthood in your area they do free testing if you did not want to believe them results!

Dont take the dollar store tests. Those are useless. get a proper one, that states you can use it on the day of the missed period.
Anyways, unless you're on some contraceptive you're periods can be a few days off.
