I have a bad feeling that there's going to be an awful lot of bloodletting, no matter what.
I keep thinking, though, that Snape is going to finally come out firmly on Harry's side, and probably get killed--likely while trying to protect Harry (as an aside, I really think Snape had a huge crush on Harry's mother :-) !), despite the dislike he feels for him because of Harry's resemblance to James.
I really hope that Hermione and ALL the Weasleys (except for maybe Percy the Prig) come out unscathed.
And keep an eye on Minerva McGonagle, too. I think she might have a few tricks in her bag that will make life unpleasant for Voldemort and his minions.

One cannot live while the other survives means one or the other has to die. Voldemort will die, because she wouldn't let the bad guy win. They could both die, that's a possibility, but imagine a mob of irate readers storming Scotland. I don't think Harry will die. Neville could be a hero, and I'd rather like it if he were, get some of the glory that Harry keeps absorbing. I have the theory that Dumbledore isn't dead. It was an elaborate hoax. I don't know about Hermione, I hope she survives, I've always liked her. Ron can die, he turned into a punk. If Fred and George die, I will be most upset. There's nothing J.K. Rowling can do, short of writing a spectacularly awful ending, to assuade the mob of writings that will soon come about Harry and his friends. If she doesn't lose her fan base altogether, there's no way to stop it.
I only hope this book is better than the last one, a bit of a disappointment that.

Almost everyone that Harry cares for might perish one by one in the 7th book. You can see Rowling's tendency to make Harry the most miserable wizard that ever lived.
Anyway, at the end, Harry will be the last man standing, against Voldermort. Voldermort dies, and Harry wins, but after all that losses and committing a murder (albeit a well received one) I wonder if it's all worth it...

I think that Harry is the last Horcrux and that is why Voldemort needs to kill him to make himself whole. I also don't think Snape really killed Dumbledore and he's not really dead. I think Harry and Voldemort will both die, but Harry will be resurrected.
