My pet alligator, Razor, has gotten too big for my apartment (he's 16 feet 4 inches long and weighs about 450 pounds). He went after the mailman last week - it was a close call. How can I go about finding a new home for him?

This sounds like a hoax question!!!! Are you for real? most gators don't get that big to begin with and if it went after the mailman then I would assume he would have reported the incident then you would have been contacted by law enforcement at the least. But try contacting your local Fish and Game office. But I believe you could be in for some legal issues. And why would you have a pet alligator to begin with?

Call your local Animal control and tell them you'd like the name of an agency that will transfer the alligator to a zoo or some other proper facility.

2. Call the zoo. I am sure there is one that would take it. Here in Athens there is a zoo with alligators.
