We had the upper power steering hose replaced on a TSB from Chrysler 2 or 3 months ago, but it seems to have gotten worse since they replaced it. We only have 53,000 miles on it also.

Just out of curiosity have you checked the power steering fluid? If its empty that could be your problem. Also I had a chrysler and the engine went at around 80,000 miles and it had something to do with the water pump which in turn made the steering harder around the time before this happened. I dont know but I pray for your sake this isnt the problem cause it is expensive!! But before you freak out just check the fluid!
