I'm not talking about uploading, but the actual editing of the film footage with music, etc. I've been aiming to make some and I haven't a clue where to start or where to go!

Windows has an editor, not very good though, but good for amateurs. It's called Windows Movie Maker. I've done a couple of projects for school using this and they came out pretty good. Also on the mac they have Final Cut, which is a little better. You can also go and spend a little money for a better editor, search around for one.

Be creative. Use Microsoft Movie Maker if you want to edit the video with music.

First you need a camcorder....assuming you have one...
Put the file onto your computer and use video editing software like Ulead Video Studio or WinDVD
