I lie about the money I make to others.

I always tell them I'm hard up, money is scarce, work is almost non-existent, I dunno how I'm gonna make my next meal after I've paid the plebs and all the rest of it.

Why?

Because I make a killing. Really, if I had a conscience I'd feel guilty all the time, and If I could grasp that thing about morality I might even work cheaper. Happily, none of those two illnesses are a problem for me in my business life. Commerce is a jungle, and I'm a predator in it :oP

Now, if I told people the truth, what would they do?

Would they think: "Lucky ol' Mooch, I feel so happy for him"?

Or would they think: "Mooch is making a killing, I'll get in on the act and have some of that"?

I lie because I don't want or need the competition.

none. My age? You're only as old as you feel. Weight? I gave up on that years ago. Salary? I just re-joined the ranks of the employed, so I'll gladly tell anyone I know (except on the internet, which even if I made 5 bucks a day, I still don't feel comforable about saying it on the net)how much I make.

well i need to loose some weight so that is obvious. I am 37 years old who spent way to much time in the sun and tanning beds in years past.

so I would have to lie about my salery. That is one thing they would not be able to look at me and say thats a lie.

my weight. because I'm about 20 lbs over weight but most people say "aw, I know you don't weight that much" when I tell them the truth, so might as well lie. ( I don't, but if I had to choose out of the ones you listed, weight would be it)

My weight, although I don't like to lie at all, but I don't know my real weight, so I make up a lower weight than I think, but not too low that would make it obivious that I am lying!!

weight, I usually tell them a few pounds to the lighter. I don't mind telling people how old I am, but the weight thing, well you know, it's a woman thing!

Actually, I lie about my height. I'm very sensitive about being as short as I am, so I usually add an inch or two. I know that's silly, but....we all have our quirks.
