I was told that I had a very angry aura. Is that based on my aura's colour? If so, does the colour change once my situation and mood improves? I would like to clarify that I am not asking if it changes every day or anything. I mean your overall mood.

I didn't mean like a mood ring. That's why I tried to clarify that I didn't mean it changed all the time... just when your true, deep down mood changed. For example, when you have depression, is it one colour, but if you overcome your depression, is it another colour?

Not only color, but intensity, "shape" and "definition" can add to the perceptions given to those who can see them. Different training to see them results in different "colors" being percieved as well. Some methods allow them to be read as a "mood ring", some allow health and harm to be guaged, others just show the overall spiritual state of the individual. A few people can see in more than one "spectrum". Generally "mood" is general like you say, not how you feel at the moment (except in cases of very strong emotions) but your overall outlook (?) or perhaps mindset is a better description.

Yes, parts of your aura will change color with your mood and inner emotions. Some parts stay the same. To see these, have an aura photo taken. This will actually show you the colors of your aura and the photographer will interpret them for you.

I have never seen an aura, except on a photo of a friend of mine who was told he had a very short time to get things right. Neither of us thought much about it, but he was dead three months later. In the photo, taken by an aura-reader in Sedona, AZ, was total black around him, except a very small smear of pink. I think auras depict our mood, health and several other things. It's energy and we are made up of energy.

Believers say that the colors of the aura can reveal a person's nature, though not in itself predict the future. Some claim imbalance in aura may cause physical or psychological disorders, and might offer advice on how to balance it.
No known scientific evidence supports these claims. It is very common for those who claim to be able to see and interpret auras not to agree what a particular colour or type of aura means; for instance a red aura to one interpreter might mean anger or rage, while another claims that red is passion and love. Both anger and love are commonly associated with the colour red, though the two emotions are quite far removed from one another. Auras are an example of pseudoscience.

[edit] A Couple of Standard Aura Colors And Their Meanings
Red- Strength, anger, tenacity, passion, sensuality, vitality, raw energy & willpower. Dark red may symbolize one who has a quick temper and is nervous or impulsive. All red relates to nervous tendencies.

Orange- Warmth, maternal feelings, thoughtfulness, a very emotional person & creativity. The muddier shades may indicate pride or vanity, while golden orange denotes self-control.

Yellow- Mental activity, wisdom, personality power, happiness, good cheer, optimism. A golden yellow means that the person takes care of him/herself or a highly advanced individual with psychic abilities - an adept. Darker yellows may represent shyness.

Green- Sympathy, empathy, spirituality, love, affinity with nature, a natural healer, and calm. May signify that the person is a healer or very good at the healing arts and is very reliable. Dark shades of green can indicate one who is jealous or has many uncertainties.

Blue- Quiet, highly spiritual, religious, natural teacher, healer and calm. Any shade of blue in the aura is good to have. Deep blue in an aura shows one who has found his/her work and or destiny in life. Blue may also represent a tendency to be moody and depressed.

Violet- One who is seeking something in life. Signifies psychic, clairvoyance, religious, teacher and healer. Dark shades may indicate that the person has obstacles to overcome and is feeling misunderstood. Commonly a color of great sexual frustration.

Black- Protection. May reflect a person who's hiding something. It may indicate mental imbalances as well.

Brown- This could reflect a person who is very "earthy" or that a person is establishing new roots, or even one who is very centered with themselves and their surroundings.

Pink- Love and deep friendship. It represents compassion, and possibly a love of beauty. Darker or muddier shades of pink may point to immaturity.

White- Usually this is one of the first colors you will see in an aura. However, when it is the stronger color of the aura, it reflects purity and truth
