i'm not from any of those countries but i always hear on movies, tv series and even in the simpsons sarcastic coments like nothing ever happens in canada. Is it envy or what?

Americans talk smack about every country but their own. They're just jealous that they don't live in Canada, one of the greatest countries on earth. They wish they had our land, our people, our health and education systems, everything. And they always think us Canadians want to be American...hahahaha...please. I hate Americans; I'd move to the North Pole before moving to the United States (and I hate the cold!).
However, on shows like the Simpsons, etc. when they make fun of Canada, like thinking we live in igloos or have polar bears as pets, it is pretty funny. It makes us Canadians laugh to hear that. Although there are enough idiots our there who truly wonder if we live in igloos.

a pretty general statement.I knwo alot of realestate investors who are ameriacn and believe me making profit isnt boring.
But the city types put us down some times because we have so much open space and our biggest city is small by US stds
We are also criticized because our armed forces are relatively small and we are accussed of riding American coattails where defense is concerned.I think that is good business myself.Why spend money when we dont have to?
We have never had a civil war.Instead we have the quebec issue which is a 100 year debate that shows no signs of resolution.
We have almost free medicare and that is construed as being soft and non self reliant.

I think it`s because most of us have never been there.
Alot of talented people have come from Canada,
and Pam Anderson too!!!I think it`s a hidden treasure,
much open wilderness,cities with culture,and one of the best Comedy festivals in the world.
Canadians,am I right?

Canada is North of America (we should all know this). It is cold in Canada and only gets about 3 months of warm weather for the entire year. I myself do not like cold weather and I would never move into the northern states or even canada because of this reason. what other then bars, movies, and sex can you do in cold weather if your not into winter sports?

dont beleave everything you hear . ive always had fun in canada . the people where nice . i use to go to nova scotia once a year . to train with yalls navy. was far from boreing

because Canada is peaceful country and do not like to interfere in other people business, and USA wants it to be like her.....and jealous so may be that's why......
