apparently when you die you see your phantom double i was wondering if anyone else heard of this im freaked now

wattie - once someone told me that she saw a woman come into her room smile and walk out the thing is tht woman looks exactly like she does now so maybe theres something in that

you mean a doppelganger (sorry not sure of spelling) there are lots of legends about them Ruth rendall even Incorporated the legend into one of her mystery books. i would not be too worried if i were you people keep thinking they have seen me in places that i have not vistaed so i must have a double and as this has happened for years and i am still alive i think everyone is safe

I don't know about that but when I was three years old I stayed at a friends house. There were about six kids and I ended up sharing a double bed with my friend who was about four years old. I was woken in the night by talking and giggling. When I looked across there were two of her sat chattering and laughing. I remember being really confused but because I was so young it didn't really freak me out. I just said who are you and they just giggled but I know I was definately awake cos we were making a lot of noise and her mum shouted up the stairs for us to be quiet and It was all just too real. We eventually fell asleep and in the morning the other one was gone and nothing was said. It was only years later that it started to freak me out. I know for sure that it happened but I'm not quite sure what IT was. I would love to see the girl again but unfortunately I've not seen her since about 1978 and I can't even remember her name. I would love to know if other people have experienced anything like this.

Sounds like rubbish to me due to a number of reasons. First off, how can someone who is dead let the living know that they saw their phantom double when they died? Actually, that one point should suffice............
