This particular mouse was the runt of the litter. Once i took it from its mother it got pissed and bit me ........ I know eventually it will be a great mouse

Have you been feeding it the right things? Optical mice are very different from the usual, normally a diet of seeds and grains will suffice.

Computer mice don't eat. But if you mean it is not moving clean the "eyes", lens. if that doesn't work your mouse is probably defective.
