Television networks have a creative staff.Unsolicited program ideas go in the trash. Networks cannot risk reading unsolicited material. They may be working on a similar idea. The person that submitted the "unsolicited material " may try to sue them.

If you have an idea you feel strongly about, and your cable station has Public Access Programming, you can Produce your ideas for free on Public Access. Hopefully someone will see your show and "pick it up," for network or cable.
