why is it that in a lot of cothing stores, they put the smallest sizes on the very top shelf? is it just to torture us short people, or do they find it amusing

funny question i have never thought about but you are right they like to torture short people,now lets stand together against it!!!! all short people everywhere let our voices be heard (not our size,lol) to stand against the GIANTS of this cruel fashion world of ours!!!

ya i don't know why they do that guess its really amusing to them to see a short person struggle to get the shirt from the top shelf. maybe its cause there r fewer people to buy smaller sizes so thats the least sold size.

I think that they don't realize that. Unfortunately many people are taller than average these days. You might want to tell them. I have the exact same problem. I'm 5'0"

small always goes on top or firt on the hager... its smaller to large.... small sell more the a bigger size
