It happens to me all the time. My calf has been doing it on and off for 5 years. I don't really notice it anymore. If it was my eye I would go crazy.
It can happen due to be tired or stressed out. When I was 12, my father had a heart attack and I was so stressed out that my eye did that for over a month.
It will go away, outside of going to the doctor and having them give you a muscle relaxer, there is little you can do. Try to ignore it as much as possible. Ever notice it goes away the less attention you give it? When you think about it, it comes back.

its the muscles around the yes going into spasms.
tiredness, eye strain and stress can make it worse as can bright lights etc.
try either a cool flannel or cucumber slices on the eys for 10 minutes and see if that helps and also advise to go to option to have your eyes tested.
but def take 10 mins out and relax them,
I also suffer from them and find the 2 options of flannel or cumcumber helps alot

Yes, this is a real problem, it was for me too about two months ago. First off I had some blood work done to see if I had a problem with anything there and all was in line. So they chose for me, to put botox in my weak muscle, in my eyelid. It didn't hurt and the twitch is gone, yeah and good luck to you too!!

Whenever I get the eye twitch it's from my nerves, so try a bubble bath or whatever relaxes you and that should work.

It usually means you are tired. It's not actually something anyone else can see. Try and get a few good nights sleep.
