Did you buy it that way (because it was cheap) or did you just wear it out?
If you don't drive, substitute a bike model.

I owned a '86, (I think that's the year) puke light yellow Honda Accord. I remember going to the Credit Union and getting a loan, My first, and paying $1K... paid $600 for it and the rest went to insurance and tires. I even came home and waxed the thing,, man, I was so proud,, it was all mine,, lots of Pizza Inn tips for that thing.. bought it from the wife of the owner of a Harley Davidson shop, who sold flowers, and there was nothing but dead flowers in the hatchback.
I went so far as to put floor mats, and plastic license/vanity plates, and PIMPED out the interior.. (though back then, wasn't any pimp my ride).. just Autozone. Darn muffler had a huge hole in it,, drove to college getting my undergraduate degree,, all the time blasting my vanilla ice tape,, and thinking I was soooo kewl... then POW.. muffler would let out a huge blast, .... all my friends heard me from miles away or when approaching, ... then pull up and POW.... complete humiliation..

It got wrecked, I wasn't' driving it, my twin brother smoked pot, and wrecked it,, but man, I collected more money than it was worth,, wonderful.. bought a redneck new Toyota 4X4, Maroon, CD player, running boards, chrome fog lights, towing wench, bed liner, tinted windows, bug lights, cb to talk to my family and friends, (redneck), and a fuzz buster, after much savings,, yeah chick was redneck back in the day.. but that car,, was hilarious.. and I am proud that I did it on my own!.. even if everyone called it "THE VOMITATOR!"

I cannot tell you for sure the exact make of it but it was like an astrovan (I think a GM Safari) it was sky blue colored. Anyhow my dad gave it to me when I was 18 and it had been used previously as a flower delivery van so the seats were ripped out of it in the back. There was no a/c and the rearview side windows caved in when I drove faster than 20 mph. Also the center rearview mirror was missing and I could actually start the car up without putting the key in the ignition (I could just turn it and vrooom look out!)
I kept a little wooden stool in it for my friends to sit on in the back but one of my chunky friends accidentally broke it when I hit the breaks too fast one time. That was hysterically funny.
The tape deck didn't work but the radio and speakers jammed just fine.
Oh I also almost forgot that the handle to the window came off and I had to pop it in on the passenger side if someone wanted to roll the window down. But it was a good little van and got me from point A to B.

I've never really had a junk car. The car I drive now is a 1991 Lexus - it's old, but still looks pretty nice. The leather on the inside has several worn spots and the window tinting has turned a purplish color - lol. I've put a lot of money in repairs; I just can't call it a junkie Lexus!

Not me, but my husband (we were dating at the time) had a 1978 Fiat in 1988. It was all he could afford. The whole thing was a piece of junk, but the best part was that he had to keep a screwdriver with him for the headlights. You know how on Fiats the headlights open up when you turn them on? Well, when he turned them on he had to unscrew the headlight, pull it up, and screw it back in place. Then as we drove along he'd have to stop all the time to readjust the headlights because if we hit a bump the headlights would jump all over the place and end up lighting up the sides of the road instead of being able to see where we were driving.

It was my first car, I was 16 when I bought it it didn't have any problems and was the cutest thing. It was an older Dodge Neon... after about a year though the paint started peeling off of it, and the bearing in the tires went bad, it finally met its demise when someone hit it in the high school parking lot.

A 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII, we bought it in 1996 used, and paid for it twice in repairs. At just 75,000 miles the engine threw a valve, it when right through the side of the engine, the Air ride system failed twice, and on and on. The last straw was when the electrical system started having trouble, it would start honking/lights flashing all by it self. It was a beautiful car, but it was a candy covered piece of junk!
Thanks for letting me vent :>

I had a 1997 Geo Metro with a crashed driver side fender. Bought it cheap but what a great running car and gas saver!

A Dodge Colt hatchback, I don't know what year. It would always make an ugly loud noise whenever I would start it.
Now I drive a 2003 Ford Focus

An old 69 Ford Fairlane. It was the worst car I've every owned. I've never owned a Ford since then either.
