I need to send an e-mail to a group, and I want only one name in the "to" box.. but I want the name to be correct for each differnent each person.

Use BCC which means Blind Carbon Copy.

If you carbon copy it to everyone then everyone will see the list of names you have sent it to.

If you blind carbon copy it, they will only see their name in the "to" box.

when sending an e-mail to multiple people and you don't want all the names showing, simply put the names in ( )'s. don't forget the comma between the names. this way each person will only see their names on the e-mail.

BCC it will not show all the names but they will all get the email

Put one email addy in the "To" box and put all the rest of them in the "BCC" box. Blind copy - it works!

Put them all in the "Bcc" area.
