A gang of us are going to Dublin for the weekend tomorrow to a huge birthday bash, the guy who's birthday it is said he has everything he wants already and asked us if we had any ideas of a charity to donate his birthday money to, of course with it been breast cancer awareness tomorrow all of us ladies suggested he donate to them and the men agreed too, hes even having a pink party in honour of it, were going as the Pink ladies from Grease, some of the guys including my hubby are going as bunny girls in pink and we are all going to be wearing our ribbons with pride, my mom died of breast cancer almost 8 years ago and I do a lot of fund raising for Tickled Pink and McMillan nurses because they were fantastic with her and us before and after her death, your right every bit helps and if we can just save an extra 100 life's a year then yippee its worth it, the more money that's made for research the more life's saved, it affects lots of families today and both men and women too.

Yes ma'am! I'll proudly wear my pink blouse, black jacket & pink ribbon. Two of my mom's best friends have had breast cancer. One survived, but the other one unfortunately passed away.
I think one only realise the seriousness once it hits close to home.
