Download a copy of spybot search and destroy. In the advanced mode tools you will find a tool called start up manager which is much better than msconfig. It will tell you what the programs are used for in about 80% of the entries found making it much easier to decide what to disable. It is also much easier to disable and reenable startup entries with this tool. http://www.safer-networking.org

One way is: go to Start menu> click Run> type msconfig.exe> click the Startup tab> UNcheck the programs that you do not want to run on startup> click Apply and OK> restart computer. Otherwise, open the settings/preferences of each program and choose for them not to run on startup.

Your question is a bit hard to understand... I think you're talking about too many programs that start up when Windows desktop comes on and it slows down the booting time.

To fix that, go to:
Start\\\Run\\\Type: "msconfig"\\\go to the "Start-Up" tab (or something close I think)\\\clear the checkboxes that you don't want to start when Windows boots up\\\Click OK\\\Restart PC

Restore your computer to an earlier time. Before all the programs started running.

Download Startup Inspector from http://www.windowsstartup.com/

Run this software (its free) and it will tell you if the programs that are starting are required or not. You can then disable those not needed from within Startup inspector easily.
