I'd have to say that you are not a true fan of the game. It's nothing against you, it's just that baseball is not your sports passion. I can see being bored at times during the regular season. Certainly when there is a blow out in progress, but not the playoffs. This is the best time to be a baseball fan.

Its probably boring to you because you arent interested in watching it. Many people enjoy it though but I can understand since it doesnt really have all the excitement as some other games. I love baseball but I much rather play it than watch it on TV.

I found that I enjoyed baseball more as I learned more about pitching. That's the bulk of the game on TV.
Also, falling asleep does not mean it's boring.
I put golf on TV when I take a nap. I love watching golf on TV, but it's also nice to sleep while golf is on (though, my wife thinks I'm crazy).

Baseball is much more entertaining during the playoffs and the world series. It's not so bad when the pitcher doesn't take up so much time between pitches. I think that game 3 progressed along rather nicely.

Point of View. I wouldn't go to a football game if I was given the best seats in the house with all expenses provided.

I think it has less to do with baseball, and more to do with the fact that you don't understand the game. You're probably more used to games that are simply to follow, and that don't involve a lot of thinking on the part of fans.

your eyes are trained to watch sports that go from left to right.
ie basketball, football, soccer .etc.
Baseball, is a strategic, game that goes north and south and requires patience . you have to be a diehgard to appreciate it, (that or have a team that you grew up watching) My wife has a hard time watching b-ball as well , and i took her to a game ...
