Our European ancestors came to America, presumably, to escape religious persecution and taxation without representation.
Then they met the native American Indians, and decided it was acceptable to take their land, massacre them, and eventually put them on 'reservations'. We also desecrated their land and plundered the frontier. Buffalo, for example, were killed by the Indians only as needed for clothing, shelter, and food. Buffalo were killed by the white man simply for the sheer sport of it.
Then, in the white man's infinite wisdom, our ancestors brought slaves from Africa, treated them worse than we treated most animals, bought and sold them as property, and then wonder why - today - those African-American descendants are still so bitter toward whites? Why? WE didn't do anything to them? It was our ancestors that did all those nasty things!
Then, in Nazi Germany Hitler's propaganda machines finally convinced a preponderance of otherwise decent German citizens that it was 'okay' to kill Jews, gypsies, or others who weren't good enough to be part of the perfect Aryan race. So it became acceptable to kill 6,000,000 innocent people. Because they didn't fit into the Nazi profile of perfection, they became part of the 'final solution'.
Of course, today we still hate illegal immigrants, we still hate anyone who doesn't subscribe to our religious beliefs or our political point of view. We hate Muslims, Jews, or other non-Christians. We hate homeless people, hungry people, or those on welfare - all because we honestly believe them to be inferior just because they don't drive a Lincoln Navigator or live in a $300,000 hoe with six bathrooms for three occupants.
The hate-mongers on Fox "News" (which isn't 'news' at all - it's just a propaganda machine for the Republicans) and Rush Limbaugh (who is the GOP's puppet) spread hatred, bigotry, and evil across the airwaves....and then - someday in the not-too-distant future - we'll all sit back and wonder why our civilized society all of sudden considers it acceptable to abuse, torture, and kill anyone who doesn't agree with our points of view: homosexuals, cross dressers, non-Christians, liberals, welfare recipients, homeless and sick people, those who are aging or hungry, as well as the unemployed, and those who are addicted to meth, cocaine or heroin.
Of course, the conservative-biased media will include all those pedophiles, wife beaters, prescription-drug abusers, alcoholics, bad-check writers, white-collar criminals, adulterers, shoplifters, liars, cheats, petty thieves, and perhaps even a murderer or two who are part of their "base" (which includes all 535 members of Congress).
Yeah, there's too much hate in the world, and we Americans are responsible for spreading most of it these days. -RKO-

That's how the world works. You can't expect everyone to agree, and be just like you. A lot of people hate the president, a lot of people hate the wars. It's expected. You just deal with it, because you can't do a thing about it. As for you being a calm teenager, that's not something to complain about. Some may say you're missing out on some experiences, but you're just avoiding the consequences that follow. Your teachers are just not used to seeing people like you. They probably appreciate it. On Y!A, it's just the interent. Here you can say and do what you want, and not get beat up or anything. Don't take it seriously. Most of those questions you see are by trolls, so they're not real. If you have had sex with 300 guys, you need help. Like, now. Don't kill anyone. If you do, you're going to jail and you'll hate the world even more. We all hate someone, or at least dislike. You deal with it. Don't take life so seriously, and live it how you want.

Yes, mainly due to religious zealots fostering it that don't even follow their own religious beliefs, such as the Islamic terrorists blowing up their neighbors, televangelists spouting hate against anyone who is different or doesn't believe exactly the same way as they do; ordinary people who blindly believe what their religious leaders say, and then condemn others. Many church leaders, for example, advocated for racial discrimination; the catholic church was very militant during the last 500 years, eradicating whole communities if they chose not to worship the catholic god. Israelis use old, defunct texts to justify in their minds the forced takeover of palestinian lands, and deny them basic democractic rights.

Some people hate some things. Those people are called "hateful". Some people don't hate as much or at all. The latter are better to be around.

Hate stems from fear.
....and there's a whole lot of fear in the world. Most of it as the result of governments trying to control their people.
