I have found that by taking REAL responsobility for my two children, 50% custody, and I take them to school on my ex-wifes days she has them, Making sure they get an education in public school. my child support is 0, zero after years of paying through the nose, and working two jobs.

If you have a crazy child support payment and are behind in payments, you need to take a giant role in your childrens life. I have done it, It takes time, and a comentment to your children.

Give her nothing to use to say your a bad father. Make changes in your life to better your kids lifes. EDUCATION is what they need, and can get it at public school if you take the interest.

This is what you need to do! So DO it! Its GOOD>

You are so right and its so much better for your kids to have both parents in their lives equal amounts of time its so healthy for them in the long run. Thats great and very sweet hopefully you and your ex get along well without any problems, its really nice when people can be civil and grown ups especially when they have kids together.

I'd rather the father of my kids be involved in their life than me fight for more money to support them while he is off with his new girlfriend flying around the world enjoying life. But one visit a year (for one week) and about 2 - 5 phone calls a year is by far not enough. So, unfortunately for him, I'm making him pay through the nose. Too bad there weren't more smart thinking father's such as yourself.

Yes lots of women, like Shellygirl, seem to only think about money and not the children. how is it a man is called a deadbeat if he has 50% custody and does not pay child support? I think the women who oppose shared parenting only do so because they want the money.

Good for you! I'm glad to see fathers like myself who are redefining the stereotype of fathers of children of divorce. I'm invloved in a few father's rights organizations. They offer good advice and news about current issues nationwide check it out here:

definite, the youngsters nevertheless are your duty. The courtroom in basic terms in many cases sends the money with whomever has custody of the youngsters. yet being that the mum would not have the youngsters then they probally will enforce her to pay as properly
