People in the US work more on average than any other G-7 country in the world. The Japanese work more on a day to bases, but they take vacations witch ends up lowering the yearly average.

In My last job I would work from 5pm to 6am 5 to six days a week. This was a little crazy so I've gone back to school. I only work now 10 to 15 hours a week.

Only one of my friends works less than 40 hours a week. She took a part time job after her first kid was born. She only works 30. Her husband on the other hand works just over 50 in a week.

Any full time job that I've had as required me to work more than 40 hours a week, most weeks. I think the 40 hour work week is disappearing.

I'm a mom and a wife. My working hours never stop.

My husband is a teacher. His pay hours are from 7:45 to 3:45, however he usually is at school from 7:30 until 4:30 and those are days he does not have meetings. On those days he is at school from about 7 until 5 or 6 and sometimes 8:30.

I don't work. My fiance works and makes all the money. We have no children yet and I am a full time college student. I know that he works more than 8 hours a day and but no more than 70 hours a week. He is a busy man. But the average jb is 8-4:30. I hope this helped!
