Love them both, but must admit SNL is not quite what it used to be. MAD TV might be talking the lead

I don't watch Mad TV, but this season of SNL has been so unusually subpar (I bet it's due to Tina Fey leaving) that if Hugh Laurie can't shine this Saturday, I'm ditching the show for good.
(Not that I would blame Laurie- certainly not. He's an amazingly gifted comic actor. I'd blame the SNL writers.)

I prefer SNL although with many of the really funny actors gone it hasnt been quite the same. Nevertheless its pretty enjoyable and more than MAD TV. But MAD TV has its moments as well.

The Original SNL was the best. I don't really care for the new one. Guess I am getting old. MAD TV is better but not always, they can have some crummy skits and bits on there also.

I like SNL better, but a lot of the good actors have left the show.... Same with MAD TV...I don't like the newbies as much, so I don't watch the show as much...

I only tune in to mad tv for Stewart "look what I can do". Both shows have become total crap over the years, but they're better than going to bed and having to "fake it" with the hubby
