Man pages in Linux do a good job at explaining functions, but where can I find usage examples?

I can never seem to find common usage examples in man pages. It's quite frustrating.

I think this depends more on the command you are looking at. A lot of the man pages I look at have at least one or two simple examples. If you can't find anything in the man page you may be able to find something in the info page, just run the command "info {command name}" This may have some examples or at least better information.
