Sorry to say, OSU is ranked #6 in mean wins over the last 40 years. While they may have had the best program over the past two decades, Nebraska probably doesn't have the best fans -- I think Texas has them. Every Longorn fan I've met is full of Hook 'Em pride and usually pretty good spirited.

They are #1 right now for a reason. Still they may lose to Michigan. Then if they do beat Michigan they may lose to whoever the BCS throws at them. If USC is good enough to win out they will be a tough test for Ohio State. Also WVU has some special offense. OSU is favorite right now but who knows if they finish #1

Everyone, well except for Colorado, think that they have the best fans. I'll go with Nebraska on the fans, and for now OSU with the team.

the fans are great - very respectful. i went to a osu game when wisconsin played them (ron dayne was playing back then) i wore wisconsin stuff and the osu fans didnt care. although wisconsin trounced them osu does have both the best fball program and fans

I'll have to give the nod to Texas. Their fans have so much more class. I know not all OSU fans are rude, but there are too many that are. So when you want to know who has the "best fans," I would definitley not give it to the OSU fanbase. They may be the most spirited, but not the best.

I am not trying to take away what OSU has done this year but in fairness to other schools, Columbus does not really have anything else. They have a hockey team, but no one seems to care about hockey any more, and minor league baseball.

not trying to rain on your parade, but like i say about Texas:play some real football teams and then talk your nonsense lol...i understande that its not entirely up to you but who have to you beaten other than texas that has a decent program......norte dame, now thats always a tough schedule, thats why i would like to see a playoff format in college, top 10 bcs teams in a playoff format...this way more teams can play challenging games throughout the season
