When spelling out numbers, ex 1-one 2 two, how many numbers will you go through before you use the letter "a"?

Because i said when spelling out numbers, and is not a number, but your answer was good i didn't think of that....lol. Thousand is a numerical placement so it is mathmatically considered a number. And is just "and".

That really WAS a fun question! In all my years on the planet it never dawned on me that none of the (written out) numbers had an "a" (well, at least not until you DO get to "thousand) -- that is really fascinating. Did you figure that out yourself or did you hear about it somewhere? I love stuff like that, thanks for the question!
